Free Transportation Provided by Adapco

A  conference shuttle to and from the  Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) and the Detroit Marriott at Renaissance Center will be provided free of charge to attendees via Commuter Express. These services will only be provided at the times and locations listed below.   Follow the signs to Baggage Claim whether or not you have checked bags.  

Saturday, February 25, 2006 

    Every hour on the hour (IE: 12:00, 1:00 etc)

Sunday, February 26, 2006 

    Every half hour (IE: 12:00, 12:30 etc)

    12 Noon -  6 :00 pm ( 13  departures)

The mini-bus will be located at the McNamara Terminal  (Northwest, Continental, Delta) outside the baggage claim adjacent to bag belt #8 which is known as Door #4. Greeters will be there to coordinate arrivals, help you find your bags and show you to the vehicles. For attendees not traveling through the McNamara Terminal, transportation is available between terminals from Commuter Express at no charge.  Greeters will be in the Smith Terminal (all other commercial, non-charter airlines) to assist you.  Please click here for more information on the Terminal-to-Terminal shuttle.   For additional information on conference meet & greet operations, please click here.

    8:00 am - 4:00 pm (9 departures)

In an effort to accommodate everyone needing to return to the airport on Thursday, a sign up sheet will be available during the conference at the registration desk. Please make sure to sign up for the shuttle so that everyone is able to make their flights on time.   

The return shuttle will depart from the Detroit Marriott ( Renaissance Center) Motor Lobby. All passengers will be assisted by a dispatcher  from Commuter Express. 

If you choose to provide your own transportation ,  airport  taxicab  fares  are approximately $48 each way.   However, we recommend using Commuter Express's sister company, Checker Sedan.   Advance reservations (required) may be made at Checker Sedan or by calling 800-351-5466.    For more information on both Commuter Express and Checker Sedan, please visit their website here.
